How to Beat The Lion Dance Grandmaster

The Final Dance is exactly what the name promises: lion-dance movement translated into boss strings — sweeping low arcs, bobbing feints, and drum-timed flashes. It is one of the game's signature set pieces, and mechanically a fair mid-game duel with unusually readable rhythm.

The fight lives in a locked courtyard whose guardians drop a Blackstone Fragment when cleared. Expect the grandmaster's support to join before the dance ends — the fight can briefly become a crowd.

Clear the courtyard guards first (assassination chains work on unaware groups), then take the dance. The lion-dance strings reward parry discipline — the drum timing makes the blue flashes unusually easy to read. Keep your Sha-Chi topped with switch-resets between phrases, and punish the bow-like recoveries with Sha-Chi combos.
