How to Reach It

Story boss of the Weeping Creek Valley arc. A betrothal-themed sword duel and the game's first genuine wall — her drops (the Scarlet Wraithblade) are endgame-grade.

Where to Fight

Weeping Creek Valley — Hua's Lair

When You Fight It: Story-forced in the Steel and Steam chapter arc; her lair sits behind the valley's main mission chain.

Boss Mechanics

The Betrothal Duel

Hua fights like a duelist with nothing to lose: fast sword strings, layered blue-flash baits, and red-flash interrupts timed to catch panic dodges. Her Sha-Chi pressure is the heaviest the valley asks you to survive — the fight is a full exam of the switching-reset habit the Prologue planted.

Punish Windows Are Short

Unlike Peng Meng's committed axe swings, Hua recovers fast. The reliable punish windows are her own guard breaks: parry her blue flashes, break her Sha-Chi, and take the execution — invincible finisher frames are often safer than continuing to trade sword strings.

Step-by-Step Strategy

Step-by-Step

Enter with both slots filled and Medicine refilled at the last Bell. Phase one: parry discipline, switch-reset your gauge, do not chase damage between her strings. When her guard breaks, execute — the invincibility window buys you a free reset. On the kill, the Scarlet Wraithblade drops: a heavy blade whose level-10 ability (Hidden Thorns) boosts explosion damage and Sha-Chi depletion.

Struggling is normal — this is the valley's gatekeeper. Farming the valley's Memory Flowers before the attempt adds permanent max HP, and the fight was balanced around players who collected them.
