Village of Lu Area Guide

The Village of Lu is Phantom Blade Zero's puppeteer arc: Dusk, the Puppeteer runs the show from the shadows while his constructs — Yuzan, the No. 3 Musician Puppet among them — hold the streets. The village's minor fights are masters rather than soldiers: Zhuo Bi, the Gatekeeper; Master Bi Yuan of the Tianxuan Sect; and Master Bi Hai of Kuye Temple, whose defeat opens the smuggler's tunnel upstream. Combat against Lu's puppets runs on one hard rule: constructs do not bleed, so Bleed-stacked weapons like Jagged Steel lose their status pressure here.

Lu matters for progression in one specific way: it is where accessory slots and buff options expand, which is when weapon-plus-accessory builds stop being theoretical. The village also hides four Blackstone Fragments — beside Old Man Gen's hideout after Zhuo Bi falls, under the red-corded tree by the village river, in the water upstream of the Smuggler's Tunnel entrance, and on an altar at the end of the hidden passage reached Beneath the Well.
