Thieves' Camp Gangs - Enemy Guide & How to Fight

Area: Crimson Forest

Combat Trait: Human footsoldiers — bleed normally

Counter Approach: Stealth assassinations

Where You Meet Them

The Crimson Forest's human threat is the Thieves' Camp: gangs holding the upper camp, the Trail of Cages and the approaches to the Red Serpent House. They are the game's first real crowd enemies — groups that patrol, chat, and can be dismantled before the fight starts, which is exactly what the region teaches you to do.

How to Fight Them

Gangs are an assassination tutorial. The stealth system supports multi-target Chain Assassinations on grouped, unaware enemies — the Way of the Phantom achievement (61.8% unlock rate) is a Chain Assassination, and the camps here are where most players earn it. In open combat they die like the humans they are: every status works, Bleed included, and one guard-break execution usually folds the last survivor's morale along with his guard.

Loot the camps twice: once for kills, once for chests. The Upper Thieves' Camp holds a Blackstone Fragment in the room before the Red Serpent House, and the Trail of Cages hides one in shallow water at the bottom of the cave.

Drops and Value

Gang members drop common upgrade materials; the camps themselves hold the loot — two of the Crimson Forest's four Blackstone Fragments sit inside thief territory, and the Cliffside Lodge prison nearby carries the Secret Chamber Crank.
