The Order Hunters - Enemy Guide & How to Fight

Area: Prologue

Combat Trait: Elite duelists — full moveset

Counter Approach: Parry discipline

Where You Meet Them

The Order's hunters are the masked pursuers who chase Soul from the moment the story opens — "The Hunt, Hunter of the Order" is their named champion, and his "Sixfold Scythe" form rematches later in Weeping Creek Valley. You fight them in duels more than in crowds: the game uses them as the measuring stick for your parry timing, and every form keeps the same blue-flash and red-flash grammar the Prologue taught.

How to Fight Them

Hunters fight like the player: combos into Sha-Chi pressure, guard stances, and weapon-length games. Blue-flash attacks want a parry (it drains their Sha-Chi hard), red-flash attacks must be dodged, and their guard stances melt to a weapon switch — swapping resets your own Sha-Chi and your fresh weapon's combo chews through their guard. When the Hunter of the Order rematches as the Sixfold Scythe, the pattern holds; only the reach changes.

Their guard stance is a trap for attackers: standard combos chip it, but Sha-Chi combos (the heavy button) break it. Break the guard, then execute — finisher animations make you invincible.

Drops and Value

The Hunter of the Order rematch drops the Hunter's Chain Sickle, the traversal Phantom Edge that unlocks swing routes across later regions. Hunters otherwise carry standard upgrade materials — the value in farming them is Sha-Chi practice, not loot.
